looking for cities in vector based format…

I am looking to analyze a variety of cities in order to compare their scalar differences, figure-ground relationships and their means of transporation. GIS (Geographical Information Services) is not complying, so if anyone out there has a major city, or town in any vector-based format that I can use for this comparison I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for a wide range of cities and towns… so anything from Mexico City to a small African village would be useful. Thank you!

  1. uuurben-disasterrr said: what specific vector based format are you looking for? What layers of information? Just figure ground? I may be able to give you Victoria, BC and possibly Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada (not sure how complete that data set is tho) if you want.
